Located just outside the Kiawah entrance, the Bohicket Marina & Yacht Club provides access to some of the most environmentally pristine waters on the Atlantic Ocean. The marina offers scenic water tours, private fishing charters, sailing and a variety of boat and kayak rentals. Also, Kiawah Island Golf Resort (which is not affiliated with ResortQuest) features a variety of nature programs at the Night Heron Park Nature Center, from bird-watching walks to kayaking expeditions.

Sandlapper Tours (843) 849-8687 Sandlapper Tours offers guided history tours, nature tours, and sunset cruises aboard their 45-foot USCG certified twin-engine catamaran. Accompanied by a naturalist, passengers will spot and learn about Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, dolphins, and other area critters. The company's popular Charleston-based moonlit "Ghost Tour" terrorizes and delights with tales of the harbor's colorful history -- complete with pirates, hangings and shipwrecks.

ACE Basin Tour Enjoy the amazing landscape as the water changes from salt to fresh, then back to salt again. The ACE (Ashepoo-Combahee-Edisto) basin is rich with wading birds, wood stork and osprey, and contains the most important southern Bald Eagle nesting area in the state. From American alligators sunning along the banks of the upper Edisto, to the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin slipping through the waters of the lower Edisto, this is one of the most exciting trips Bohicket Boat Adventure & Tour Company offers. Captain Jack's Sailing and Dophin-Watching Tours (843) 343-1772 In 1991, Captain Jack began taking guests on personalized dolphin eco-tours aboard his sailboat. If you enjoy nature, Captain Jack knows where to find the action. Tours depart from Bohicket Marina.

Sea Island Excursion A shell collector's dream! Explore miles of natural beaches on secluded barrier islands. En route to the island you'll see dolphin, historic homes, an amazing variety of shorebirds and huge expanses of salt marsh. Enjoy a great selection of shells, ranging from sand dollars to spiral conch shells. This island is accessible by water only, so if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great trip. Sunset, Dolphin & River Cruises This great touring platform leaves from Cherry Point Seafood near Rockville on Wadmalaw Island. Island Breeze Tour Boat (843) 768-1280 The Island Breeze is a 64-foot, air-conditioned passenger vessel that can carry up to 123 passengers for an Eco-River Tour or Sunset Cruise. Trips depart from Bohicket Marina. Cruise past historic plantation homes, working shrimp and fishing docks, and the pre-Revolutionary War village of Rockville. Spot dolphin, osprey, pelicans and more as the captain shares the local lore and natural history of the Lowcountry.
