West Beach Village |

Beach, Kiawah’s first pedestrian scale village, offers a choice
of cottage,
villa and home lodging in a variety of beautiful settings, including
lush forest and lagoon views, courtside and link side settings,
sunset views over the marsh, and incredible river and oceanfront
views. West Beach is home to Gary Player’s challenging Cougar
Point Golf Course and the West Beach Tennis Center. Between tennis
and the beach lie a dozen island shops and boutiques. Several villa
and cottage neighborhoods include their own pool complexes.

and villa accommodations with Kiawah Island Resort’s wonderful
variety of outdoor sports and recreation opportunities. Jack Nicklaus’

further down-island, homes in Vanderhorst
Plantation’s private residential seclusion is home to the
Tom Fazio-designed Osprey Point and the challenging Pete Dye masterpiece
aptly named The Ocean Course. The Ocean Course is hosting the 2012
PGA Championship and has hosted numerous other televised golf events
including the memorable 1991 Ryder Cup Matches, the Senior PGA Championship,
the World Cup and the UBS Warburg Cup. No matter where you stay
on Kiawah, your family will have the privacy and security that only
